MySilkShop.com applies a reasonable shipping charge based on the weight of the order, which will be shown prior to the payment process. Since we try to provide quality products at a reasonable price, we are unable to provide you free shipping.
How will the delivery be done?
We process all deliveries through reputed couriers like DTDC, First Flight, Blue Dart etc. If there is no courier service available in your area, we will ship your order via Indian Postal Service Registered Post or Speed Post.
What is the estimated delivery time?
On an average, it takes us about 6-8 business days to ship goods out of our warehouse in Delhi. However if the item ordered is under production, it may take longer to process your order. Should this happen, we will keep you informed by email. On dispatch we will send you a mail giving you the details of the courier service used.
After dispatch from our warehouse, delivery time taken by the reputed couriers is usually 3-4 business days. For areas where orders have been sent by Indian Postal Service Registered Post or Speed Post, it may take 1-2 weeks depending upon the location.
Business days exclude public holidays and Sundays. You can always rest assured that you will receive your order within the time specified.
Notification of Order
With every order, you will receive an email containing the details of the order placed by you. Once we ship the item(s), you will receive another email containing the shipping details.
Does MySilkShop.com deliver internationally?
MySilkShop.com does not deliver items internationally. You are welcome to make your purchases on our site from anywhere in the world, but you will have to ensure the Delivery Address is within India.
Do you ship backorders?
No. We aim to keep every item on our website in stock. If there is an item which you purchase and then we realize this item is not available, we will promptly inform you within 2 working days of your purchase and fully refund your money for the out of stock item.
Can I ship different items in my order to different shipping addresses?
No, we can only process one shipping address per order. So, if you would like to order several items and ship to different people, please treat these as separate orders.
Can my order be delivered to a Post Office Box?
No. Since we deliver your order through door-to-door courier companies therefore you must include your full address details including Pin code for the shipping address.
Can I change my shipping address after placing my order?
No, you cannot change the shipping address after placing the order. But still you can contact us to check if any change in the address is possible or not.
Please carefully check to make sure that you have supplied a correct and current shipping address.
Why was my package undeliverable?
If you have not received the package, you can track the package through the Shipment Tracking facility of the courier company. If the package status is shown as undeliverable, please call the respective courier company Customer Service at their local number and quote your tracking number to trace your package.
Incorrect Address: Due to the incorrect or outdated address as provided by you, it is possible that the package has not been delivered to you.
Refused by Recipient: If you are sending a gift to someone and they refuse to accept the package because they think it is being sent to them in error, then the package will be considered as undelivered due to incorrect address. By informing your gift recipient that they should expect a package from you will help us ensure that they receive your gift.
Despite our best efforts and those of our courier partners, certain issues can arise which can delay the delivery of the parcel. In order to guarantee you seamless service quality, MySilkShop.com promises to do its best to find the causes and resolve the problem in a timely manner.
What happens if I am not available to receive my parcel?
MySilkShop.com does not take responsibility if the delivery address provided by you is incorrect or outdated.
In case that a non-delivery occurs on account of a mistake by you (i.e. wrong name or wrong address or any other wrong information) the parcel will be sent back to us, and you must wait until it arrives in our warehouse. We will re-dispatch it to you as per your instructions and any extra cost incurred by us for re delivery shall be claimed from you.
What should I do if I receive a damaged parcel?
If when you receive your parcel, you notice that it is damaged you should refuse to accept it.
If your parcel was left for you in your post-box, or if your neighbor has accepted it on your behalf, and it is damaged, the parcel is considered Accepted. We will be unable to accept any responsibility for the same.
All parcels are guaranteed to be in perfect condition when they are dispatched from our warehouse, complete with security tape that should be visible and intact.
I Have Only Received Part of my Order
Please be aware that your order may be dispatched in separate parcels and on different dates. If you have only received a part of your order, we recommend you to visit the Track Order page in the My Account section. If shipment is still ongoing, your missing items will almost certainly be delivered shortly. If the shipment dates have lapsed and you have not received your entire order, please contact us by sending a mail to customer care at support@MySilkShop.com
